New Year Basho Day 13 Results - Makuuchi Division
Yokozuna Terunofuji claimed a share of the top spot by defeating the sole overnight leader, Kotonowaka, on Friday at the New Year Basho. Terunofuji, Kirishima, and Kotonowaka now share an 11-2 tournament record, setting the stage for a grand finale in the last two days of the tournament.
