Four-time national champion Satoko Miyahara earned many honors in her illustrious career ― world medalist, Grand Prix Final medalist, Four Continents titlist. But she is most remembered for her sublime skating skills and popularity among fans and fellow skaters.
Even though she has been retired since April 2022, the 27-year-old Miyahara remains in demand on the show circuit, and not just in Japan. The Kyoto native will be part of the upcoming six-city, seven-stop "Rock Stars on Ice" tour that begins on Thursday, May 15 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
Two-time world champion and Olympic favorite Ilia Malinin is the tour headliner, along with fellow world titlist Alysa Liu and Olympic gold medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates.

Miyahara, who just finished the 10-city Canadian "Rock Stars on Ice" tour, will be joined on the US circuit by Elvis Stojko, Isabeau Levito, Amber Glenn, Jason Brown, Keegan Messing and special guest Maxim Naumov (Boston shows only).
After opening in the Emerald City, the tour will move to the Honda Center in Anaheim on May 17, the SAP Center in San Jose, California, on May 18, the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on May 21, the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on May 23, and conclude with two shows at The Skating Club of Boston on May 24 and 25.
