Japan 2 Earth Partners Share Photos of Cherry Blossoms: Part 1

The latest news from Japan 2 Earth.

In March, Japan 2 Earth (J2E) asked our partner companies and organizations to submit photos of cherry blossoms to share in celebrating the arrival of spring. From various locations across Japan, our partners contributed. Here are a few of the photos that have come in so far.

The first is from Yamato Inc. in Kumamoto Prefecture, a company founded in 2023 to promote community building projects. The photo is actually from 2020, during the early pandemic. It was taken near Tsujun Bridge, a stone aqueduct designated as a National Treasure.

The second was submitted by Sun Syu, a partner specializing in solar power. The photo was taken of cherry blossom lit up at night near Ishibutai Tumulus, a historical tomb in the company's home prefecture of Nara.

Our third submission was from Futaba Sankyo Corporation, a company working in recycling and organic fertilizers. The photo was taken in a rural part of Hiroshima Prefecture. There, spring is not only known for its flowers, but also for when baby animals like boars and deer are born, presenting quite a challenge for farmers.

The fourth photo came from REINCAR, a consulting company and a J2E partner. Taken in the Ebisu district of Tokyo after a rain, the photo shows cherry blossoms lit up at night.

We hope you've enjoyed sharing the sights of spring with us as much as we are enjoying sharing them with our partners.
