Japan 2 Earth Partners Share Photos of Cherry Blossoms: Part 2

In celebration of the arrival of spring, Japan 2 Earth (J2E) asked our partner companies and organizations to submit photos of cherry blossoms. Our partners have contributed beautiful photos from across the country. Check these out, and don't forget to read Part 1 if you missed it!

The first of Part 2 is a photo from Asahi Town. Asahi is located in the center of Yamagata Prefecture with a population of about 6,000 and is an apple-growing region. It is also known for having the world's only shrine dedicated to air. The photo shows a sacred cherry tree that is over 700 years old but continues to produce magnificent blossoms every year.

The next photo was submitted by Glonet, a company that transports large plant equipment to Southeast Asia, North America, the Middle East, Europe, South Korea, and Japan. The image is of cherry trees lining the Sengawa River in Tokyo's Setagaya Ward.

Next is a submission from Longland, a firm specializing in rentals of welfare and nursing care equipment. The photo was taken on the Tama River near Fuchu in the afternoon on a sunny day. It shows the gorgeous cherry blossoms in full bloom against the backdrop of white clouds and blue sky.

The last photo was submitted by the Tsuneishi Kamtecs, a company that operates a nationwide industrial waste treatment and recycling business. It features the cherry blossoms at Fukuyama Castle, taken from the Shinkansen platform at JR Fukuyama Station on a rainy evening.
