Key Responsibilities:
- Cover a wide range of professional sports events in Japan delivering engaging and informative reports.
- Create story-driven content for SportsLook, showcasing the unique stories and personalities within the Japanese world of sports.
- Connect with our audience on all SportsLook platforms, transcending conventional sports reporting to offer deeper insights and emotional connections.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a sports reporter or in a similar role, with a proven track record of producing high-quality sports content.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the latest developments and trends in the world of Japanese sports.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to connect with diverse audiences and engage them across multiple platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong understanding of Japanese sports and culture.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table.
- Extensive knowledge of Japanese sports, leagues, and Japanese athletes is a must-have requirement.
